► It ties together a variety of sources from across the globe---news, perspectives, video, reference, country information, primary source documents, statistics---to present a rich analysis of critical issues, whether social, political, military, economic, science or health related, environmental, or cultural.
► It provides researchers with a framework to better understand 21st-century issues, helping them think critically about global connections and the interdependence of all nations.
► It gives them the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in an increasingly global marketplace and in life in the 21st century.
