Program's interface was easy to use, however, you have to make an account before enter your info, my "matchmaker" results were lost when I went to create an account.
I like this product very much and had no problem getting started. (was happy that "Librarian" came up in my top three matches). Interface is very kid friendly and I like the profiles of actual people in each profession.
Our library has been using Career Guidance Center from Facts on File, which I think may have more careers listed (someone asked me for "bounty hunter" this year and it appeared in Facts on File's database, not here.) While the interface on Career Cruising is a little clunky, I like the workers' profiles very much as well as the college search. Work conditions, earnings and other resources are similar in both products. The matchmaker profile was fun and, while librarian came up 22nd on my list (just above tatto artist!), I felt I would be interested in all of the other choices on the list. I like this product and can easily see our library switching to this subscription.
I found Career Cruising to be informative, well-presented, logical, and easy to use. I liked the interviews and profiles and the fact that the earnings and opportunities info was state-specific. The Matchmaker option was fun to do.
